Break-in at church Last Thursday we were on our way to Asuncion for our annual business meeting of our team of missionaries when we got the call. Thieves had entered the church building in our daughter work through the red tile roof, unhinged the main door that you see in the picture, took it along with a tablecloth in the kids' classroom, and left without taking another thing. Not that there are many valuables in the building besides wooden chairs, wooden tables, and a cabinet that was locked with plates, tableware, and cups. We feel very thankful to the Lord that they just took the door. One of the members quickly replaced it with the help of Avelardo who leads this church plant. Now what to do about the need to have someone living on the property. This is life in many countries of the world. You cannot leave buildings unattended without suffering break-ins of this kind.
