a Father's Day note to my Daddy
To my dearest Daddy,
Though I am far away in Paraguay once again, I am thinking of you on this
Father's Day and thanking God for giving me the earthly father that you have
been to me and to my brothers and sister. You have loved the Lord God Almighty
in first place as it should be. You have been a hard working man all your life
to provide for your family. You have been an honest and upright man. You set
before your children a godly example of how to live in this ungodly and perverse
generation. You have been faithful to love our mother all through these many
years of a committed marriage. Thank you Daddy for being all of this and so
much more. You gave me many good childhood memories of a loving father. You
helped me through some troublesome teen years. You supported me through those
expensive and lonely college years. You gave your blessing on our marriage and
loved the man that came to be your son-in-law. You endured the separation that
came when we left for the mission field. You supported our ministry for so many
years and prayed for us regularly. You may not remember all that I am recalling
just now, but believe me that you have been the best daddy that a girl could
have ever wanted.
Happy Father's Day Daddy! I love you with all my heart!
